Hello!
I’m Flora. I’m an illustrator based in Edinburgh. My two main practices are art and design which I express mainly through narrative illustration and sign painting.
I have always had a passion for narrative illustration and it formed the majority of my degree work. Since graduating and leading my own creative practice, sign painting and surface design along with more practical skills like bookbinding and working with fabric have become equally important aspects of my creative output.
I grew up on the southwest coast of Wales and this childhood is a huge source of inspiration for my art. The sea, the outdoors and wildlife are themes I am strongly drawn to and this is clear throughout much of my work.
